During an inspection of two elevators in Madinaty’s B8 district, Major General Abdel Latif praised the partnership with TMG and Schindler. He highlighted the AOI’s commitment to attracting investment and strengthening cooperation with major Egyptian private sector entities and international corporations.
According to the Chairman, the project is backed by rigorous
engineering studies conducted at the Kader Factory for Developed Industries, an
AOI affiliate, to maximize the use of local components throughout the
production phases.
Major General Abdel Latif underscored the AOI’s strategic
shift toward total local manufacturing and technology transfer. With Egypt
currently undergoing a massive urban renaissance, he noted that the domestic
elevator industry is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this growth. By
maximizing local content, the AOI aims to ensure Egyptian products can compete
at the highest level, transforming the country's building boom into a golden
opportunity for national industry.
Addressing the project’s timeline, the Chairman reaffirmed the Arab Swiss Elevator Company’s commitment to rapid delivery without compromising on quality. He underscored that all units must meet stringent technical and environmental standards while maintaining the high aesthetic caliber required for modern urban developments. Concluding his visit, Major General Abdel Latif reiterated the AOI’s readiness to partner with the Ministry of Housing and private developers on upcoming national projects.
