The Minister emphasized the importance of promotional strategies as a driving force for the tourism industry, noting that global marketing trends now focus on promoting activities and experiences rather than just destinations. This is what the Ministry seeks to implement under the slogan "Egypt… Unmatched Diversity."
He stressed the need to develop tailored marketing plans for each tourist market according to the interests of its visitors, highlighting Egypt’s unique diversity, and underlined the importance of investing in human resources through training and skills development.
For his part, Ahmed Youssef reviewed the achievements made in promoting Egypt and increasing tourist arrivals, as well as Egypt’s participation in major international tourism fairs with distinctive Egyptian pavilions. He also presented the outlines of the upcoming work plan for the fiscal year 2026-2027 to further strengthen Egypt’s position in global tourism markets.
