El-Sherbiny emphasized the ministry’s commitment to advancing work on various projects, including utilities, roads, and services in the land delivery areas, and providing support to beneficiaries of the plots and housing units, aiming to achieve the desired development in Upper Egypt cities.
In this context, officials from the New Assiut City
Authority explained that the plots in the 1,304-acre area of the northwestern
expansions, Fifth District, Distinguished Housing area, which were booked
through the electronic reservation system, will be handed over according to the
following schedule:
Plots 1–15 on Sunday, January 18, 2026
Plots 16–30 on Monday, January 19, 2026
Plots 31–45 on Tuesday, January 20, 2026
Plots 46–60 on Wednesday, January 21, 2026
Plots 61–75 on Thursday, January 22, 2026
Plots 76–90 on Monday, January 26, 2026
Plots 91–101 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026
Officials added that the period from Wednesday, January 28,
2026, to Monday, February 2, 2026, has been allocated for those who missed
their scheduled handover. Required documents include a national ID, proof of
payment of the 25% deposit, and a recent letter from the Housing and
Development Bank addressed to the City Authority. Plot owners may also
authorize a representative to receive the plot on their behalf through an
official notarized power of attorney.
