USD, EGP exchange rate remains stable

The US dollar remained stable against the Egyptian pound on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, across all banks operating in the local market, with no significant changes recorded. The stability reflects a relatively calm atmosphere in the currency market and continued reliance by traders on official rates announced by the banking sector.

The dollar also held steady at the Central Bank of Egypt at EGP 47.52 for buying and EGP 47.65 for selling, reflecting the average exchange rates across the banking sector.
