The talks, held on the sidelines of the sixth Egyptian-Armenian Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation, focused on integrating the private sector and increasing joint agricultural investments.
Minister Farouk highlighted Egypt's readiness to export
strategic commodities, fruits, and vegetables to Armenia, noting the
international reputation of Egyptian produce. The ministers agreed on several
initiatives:
Investment Forums: Organizing workshops and exchange visits
for businessmen to explore large-scale national projects.
Modern Technology: Implementing advanced irrigation and
farming systems to optimize water use.
Capacity Building: Enhancing technical training through
specialized research centers in both nations.
Papoyan expressed Armenia’s intent to leverage Egyptian expertise in land reclamation and water management. He praised the recent development of Egypt’s agricultural sector, emphasizing a shared goal to deepen economic ties through high-tech joint ventures.
