El-Sherbiny follows up on infrastructure upgrades in industrial zones

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, is overseeing road and utility development projects currently underway or completed in several industrial zones across the New Cities, including 10th of Ramadan, New Salheya, New Beni Suef, El Obour, and New Suez. The aim is to support factories and provide a stable operating environment for industrial activities in these new cities.

El-Sherbiny stressed that these projects are part of a comprehensive plan to enhance infrastructure capabilities and improve the quality of services for citizens and investors, especially in industrial areas undergoing expansion.

10th of Ramadan City: The electricity current was successfully launched at the Expansion Distributor of the S13 transformer station. This secures the power supply for the Industrial Zone South A6, a key support point, and is part of the Ministry’s efforts to upgrade infrastructure and support investment activities.

New Beni Suef City: Officials inspected road maintenance works in the extension of the Light Industries area, which is part of an ongoing maintenance project in the city. The focus was on the execution rate and quality of work, particularly enhancing asphalt efficiency and improving the area's entrances and exits to serve investors.

New Suez City: Development works are underway in several vital areas, including the First Industrial District, the Free Zone, the Extension Area, and the Expansion Area. Approximately 600 lighting fixtures have been replaced in the first phase, and a phased replacement program is being executed for the nearly 2,100 fixtures in the First Industrial District alone.

El Obour City: Officials are monitoring the project to upgrade roads and sidewalks in the Industrial Zone (A) and its Northern and Western Extensions to improve traffic flow and ease movement.

New Salheya City: The city authority is continuing its campaigns to regulate streets and roads in the industrial zones, ensuring smooth movement and maintaining the city’s appearance.
