The Cabinet’s Media Center announced on Thursday that the
company recorded a net profit of approximately EGP 35 million for the fiscal
year 2024 to 2025.
The center explained that the rebound followed a production
halt of more than fifteen years. The rebound included the full modernization of
the bus factory and the launch of the Nasr Sky tourist buses with 63.5 percent
local content along with the Nasr Star minibus which exceeds 70 percent local
content.
The center added that the company is preparing to launch its
first electric bus and electric minibus.
It noted that the company has completed the modernization of
its passenger car plant with state of the art production lines. The
modernization reflects the company’s ability to restore its industrial
position, strengthen the national industry, and create new job opportunities.
