The partnership will develop a centralized national API
portal connecting financial systems, tax platforms, citizen services, and
government data infrastructure. The portal will ensure secure integration
across government entities and leverage Salesforce’s MuleSoft technology. This
will enable eFinance to accelerate digital service deployment, enhance
reusability, and expand integration across ministries and agencies with greater
efficiency.
MuleSoft Agent Fabric will serve as the foundation for
governing and regulating future AI agents, paving the way for smarter,
automated, and citizen-centric government services.
The MoU was signed by Hossam El-Goly, CEO of eFinance, and
Mohamed Hegazy, Regional Director for Egypt at Salesforce. The signing was
witnessed by Mohamed El-Khetaimi, CEO of Salesforce Middle East, and Ibrahim
Sarhan, CEO and Managing Director of eFinance Group, during the Cairo ICT 2025
Exhibition and Conference, under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of
Communications and Information Technology.
Sarhan described the strategic collaboration as a major step
in Egypt’s national digital transformation. He said it establishes a smart and
secure infrastructure supporting the country’s vision for a fully integrated
digital government by 2030, in line with Egypt’s digital strategy on
governance, automation, and data analytics.
He added that the partnership will enable seamless
integration across government systems via a unified API gateway. It will also
enhance citizen experience through interconnected digital services powered by
AI and advanced analytics. Additionally, it will improve operational efficiency
within ministries and agencies through a secure, integrated digital
infrastructure.
Mohamed Alkhotani, Senior Vice President and General Manager
for the Middle East at Salesforce, said the company is proud to partner with
eFinance to accelerate Egypt’s national digital agenda. He added that the goal
is to integrate trusted AI, strong governance, and agent capabilities into
government operations, empowering public and private sector teams with
insights, automation, and intelligence to serve citizens more effectively.
Alkhotani noted that eFinance has achieved a significant
leap in government transaction payments since its launch in 2005. Together,
Salesforce and eFinance combine extensive national capabilities with global
expertise in AI and CRM to advance Egypt’s digital government initiatives.
With a focus on Egypt as a key market in the region,
Salesforce reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the country’s digital
transformation plans and enabling the next generation of public services for
citizens, businesses, and government entities.
