Speaking at the "Future of the Accounting and Auditing Profession in Egypt in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" conference, organized by the Egyptian Institute of Accountants and Auditors, Kouchouk stated that AI significantly helps increase productivity and revenues, reduce costs, and improve services.
He added that continuous development of the accounting and
auditing profession represents a strong investment in the nation's economy and
competitive capabilities. He clarified, "We will continue to evolve to
ensure tax services are of better quality, easier, and more stimulating for the
business community and the Egyptian economy."
Kouchouk indicated readiness to employ AI tools to maximize
the benefit from the mechanized tax and public finance systems. He pointed out
that with 3.5 billion electronic invoices and receipts available, the Ministry
looks forward to deeper analysis that will serve the economy and be reflected
in the quality of services.
The Minister emphasized that the government is keen on the recommendations of accounting and auditing experts, is very open to all ambitious ideas, and is ready to provide incentives and institutional support. He explained that the goal is to launch exceptional and continuous training and qualification programs and forge local and international partnerships to advance the accounting and auditing profession.
