The two sides reviewed prospects for joint cooperation and
explored ways to localize the manufacturing of Organon products in Egypt,
especially those focused on women’s health.
The company’s delegation affirmed their interest in
supporting women’s health in Egypt and across African countries by transferring
and localizing new and innovative pharmaceutical industries.
During the meeting, both Organon and Steit underscored their
support for Egyptian initiatives dedicated to health awareness and women’s
empowerment. These nationwide initiatives contribute to enhancing awareness of
women’s health and providing safe, advanced healthcare services.
Officials from Organon expressed their full readiness to
collaborate with AUP in local manufacturing and supply chain development, as
well as benefiting from the Authority’s strategic warehouses in Egypt. This
cooperation aims to enhance the availability of vital pharmaceutical products
and reduce reliance on imports.
The meeting reflects AUP’s commitment to promoting
international partnerships that support national industry and strengthen
Egypt’s pharmaceutical security.
