The General Assembly also witnessed elections for other key positions within the Arab Golf Federation. Yasir Al-Rumayyan retained his position as President for a second consecutive term, while Mustafa Ezzine of Morocco was elected Vice President for Africa, and Adel Fayyad of Bahrain was elected Vice President for Asia. The Executive Board members elected include Omar Hisham Talaat, Mohammed Al-Fatni, Karim Salam, Fahad Al-Naemi, Amr El-Husseiny, and Frihan Bouchamoui, who will represent the women’s golf segment.
Commenting on his election, Omar Hisham Talaat expressed his gratitude and commitment, saying “I am honored by the trust placed in me by the members of the Arab Golf Federation’s General Assembly. He added that the coming period will see stronger collaboration between the Egyptian and Arab Golf Federations, focusing on talent discovery, technical training, hosting international tournaments, and expanding the sport’s player base across Arab countries.
