The Cabinet’s Media Center stated that the inauguration of
these branches reflects the state’s integrated efforts to enhance the quality
of services provided to citizens and ensure the availability of essential goods
at affordable prices. The project marks an important step towards modernizing
public retail outlets and aligning them with local development efforts across various
neighborhoods and regions.
The center added that preparations are underway to sign a
cooperation protocol with the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development
Agency (MSMEDA) to finance the conversion of existing ration outlets into
unified “Carry On” branches. The initiative will also offer tax, credit, and
marketing incentives to standardize the brand identity and visual design
nationwide.
