Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inspected today the ongoing works at the “Marina” projects and the Boghaz Water Transmission Project, which aims to supply water to New Marina Lake. The visit was attended by ministry officials, representatives from the New Urban Communities Authority, and the heads of the New Alamein City and Tourist Villages authorities.

El-Sherbiny toured the M8 by the Lake project, which comprises a total of 1,183 units, including villas and apartment buildings. The lakes under construction cover an area of approximately 820,000 square meters. He also inspected one of the units, emphasizing the need for work to proceed according to the established timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The minister directed the intensification of construction works, the standardization of façade colors, the preparation of detailed schedules for all tasks, and continuous on-site monitoring to ensure completion within the set deadlines.

He also reviewed the lakes and the Boghaz Water Transmission Project to New Marina Lake, following up on the ongoing works and directing coordination with all relevant authorities. He stressed the importance of accelerating progress given the project’s significance, which includes two pumping stations, two pipelines, a water tunnel, and New Marina Lake itself.

The minister instructed the preparation of a comprehensive timetable for all works, the deployment of labor and equipment, and the provision of all necessary resources to ensure the project’s completion at the earliest possible time.
