The Ministry also stated that the application has been
linked to the ministries and authorities that are members of the Ministerial
Group for Industrial Development, including the Ministries of Environment,
Military Production, Electricity and Renewable Energy, Petroleum and Mineral
Resources, Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Public Business Sector,
Finance, Investment and Foreign Trade, Planning, Economic Development and
International Cooperation, Supply and Internal Trade, Agriculture and Land
Reclamation, and Labor, as well as the Central Bank of Egypt and the National
Food Safety Authority, in order to follow up on investor requests and
complaints related to industry with the relevant authorities.
This step comes in line with the directives of Engineer
Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister
of Industry and Transport, to link the system for industrial investors’
requests and complaints to a single window for follow-up with all relevant
authorities, saving time and effort for investors. Since the establishment of
the Investor Service and Support Unit, a total of 2,382 complaints and requests
have been received from investors, 604 of which have been fully resolved, while
992 investors were guided on how to address their issues.
Through the application, investors can submit complaints or
inquiries to the Investor Service and Support Unit. A notification is sent to
the investor’s phone confirming that the complaint has been forwarded to the
relevant ministry or authority. Once a response is received, the investor is
informed of the final reply through the application. Investors can also submit
an expedited follow-up through the application if a response is delayed.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry established
the Investor Service and Support Unit to ensure the rapid handling of investor
requests and complaints, resolve their issues, and remove obstacles in
coordination with the Ministry’s affiliated entities.
