Madbouly reviewed the outcomes of his recent trip to New York, where he headed Egypt's delegation to the Two-State Solution Conference and inaugurated the high-level segment of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The Prime Minister also highlighted his visit to the Qantara
West Industrial Zone, part of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority, where he
inaugurated several new development and industrial projects. Madbouly stated that
this industrial zone is a new testament to the political leadership's will to
achieve tangible change in Egypt's development map. He noted that while the
area had been planned for development since before 2011, with studies and a
cornerstone laid, real implementation only began in the last three years, with the
political will to accelerate development in the Suez Canal region.
Madbouly praised the large-scale industrial projects and significant investments being injected to boost employment, create jobs, and enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian exports. He pointed out that the most crucial factor in attracting these investments has been the gigantic network of infrastructure projects that have been implemented in Qantara West and other development areas across Egypt.
