El Sherbiny targets illegal buildings with new demolition orders in Sadat City, North Coast

Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued seven decisions to remove building violations in areas under the authority of the New Sadat City Development Authority and the second sector of the northwestern coast.

El Sherbiny emphasized that the Ministry of Housing's agencies will continue their efforts to remove building violations and encroachments in new cities and urban communities. He also highlighted the ongoing campaigns to prevent informal settlements and preserve a civilized appearance, noting that city development heads have direct instructions and are directly responsible for this.

The decisions include the removal of building violations on plots of land in various areas of Sadat City. These violations involved the construction of a mobile network tower, metal awnings, concrete columns on an upper floor, a basement without a roof, and the construction of an additional floor without legal permits. The decisions also included removing building violations in a tourist village in the second sector of the northwestern coast, specifically for unauthorized extra construction work.

The decisions state that the New Sadat City Development Authority and the second sector of the northwestern coast, with the assistance of the Reconstruction Police and the relevant police department, will be responsible for implementing the removals.
