El-Sherbiny affirmed that the Ministry is continuing its efforts to implement the political leadership's directives to provide decent housing for every citizen. He added: "We are working to execute various residential units in different areas according to the highest quality standards, thereby supporting the state's goals for comprehensive urban development and achieving the vision of the New Republic."
The Minister clarified that the Ministry aims to streamline
all procedures related to applying for and obtaining the units, in addition to
providing an easy and organized experience during the handover process, while addressing
any potential observations that may arise during the delivery stages.
Engineer Ahmed Rashad, head of the New Cairo City
Development Authority, announced a new batch of handovers for the Sakan Misr
housing project (Exhibition Grounds Area - Third District), according to a
schedule released Tuesday.
The handover schedule is as follows:
Building 19 units: Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025
Building 18 units: Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025
Building 13 units: Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025
Building 16 units: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025
Building 15 units: Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025
Building 17 units: Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025
Building 10 units: Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025

Rashad added that successful applicants must first proceed
to the Housing and Development Bank (HDB) - Nasr City Branch (2 Abbas El Akkad
Street) to finalize the contract procedures with the bank.
They must then go to the City Development Authority office with the original bank letter and a copy of the signed cheques to register their data on the network and receive the letter to inspect and receive their unit at the site.
