Farouk stressed the ministry's commitment to supporting these companies and enhancing their role in providing goods and regulating markets. He directed officials to increase the efficiency of the distribution network and raise daily delivery rates to consumer complexes and wholesale outlets.
The Minister also emphasized the need for continuous
coordination between the holding company and its subsidiaries to quickly
address any market challenges. He called for the development of internal
control mechanisms and the use of modern technology to monitor distribution.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Walid Aboul Magd,
head of the Cereals Industry Chamber and Member of Parliament Tarek Hassanien,
and other ministry and company officials.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Farouk called for regular follow-up meetings to ensure quick decision-making and greater market discipline.
