Madbouly stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi approved the November 1 opening date during a cabinet meeting in the New Administrative Capital. The Prime Minister has since directed relevant ministries and authorities to finalize preparations for what is expected to be a landmark event.
In a statement, Madbouly emphasized the need for a
distinguished and honorable inauguration, highlighting that the opening is
planned as a major international event. The ceremony is expected to draw a
large number of international officials and will feature several accompanying
activities.
The Grand Egyptian Museum, which is set to be one of the world’s largest archaeological museums, will showcase Egypt's rich cultural heritage and is anticipated to become a major global tourist destination.
