The inauguration was attended by Ahmed Kamal, Assistant Minister and Ministry Spokesperson, and Sara El-Azazy, Head of the Central Administration for the Minister’s Office Affairs.
During the opening, Dr. Farouk emphasized that organizing
specialized exhibitions like this reflects the strength and competitiveness of
national industry in local, regional, and international markets. He underscored
the ministry's commitment to supporting events that directly link the
manufacturer with the consumer, thereby stimulating the local market and
providing high-quality products at fair and competitive prices.
The Minister noted that "Ceramica Market" serves
as a crucial platform for showcasing the latest products and technologies in
the finishing sector, as well as a vital window for expanding marketing
opportunities for Egyptian products and boosting their presence in foreign
markets.
Dr. Farouk highlighted the exhibitions' role in revitalizing
and developing internal trade by stimulating demand and encouraging consumers
to rely on local products. This, he added, supports the national industry,
which is an essential pillar for building a strong, sustainable economy, and
presents a real opportunity to market high-quality Egyptian products and affirm
their ability to compete with imports. Such efforts support the state's drive
to reduce the import gap and maximize reliance on local production.
He also stressed the exhibition's importance in providing a
stimulating environment for investment in the building materials and finishing
sector, commending the organization and participating entities for presenting
products and services that rival global standards.
Ceramica Market is one of the leading annual exhibitions in
