Avex, which specializes in combining fireworks displays and artistic parades inspired by Japanese heritage, reviewed its proposal to hold a major entertainment event at the Pyramids area next year. The event would feature advanced Japanese technology, including fireworks and robot displays, with participation from Egyptian and European artists and troupes.
The company's initiative aims to capitalise on the
significant tourism momentum anticipated following the imminent grand opening
of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) next Saturday, a project to which Japan has
been a major contributor.
Ambassador El-Etreby stressed the importance of such initiatives in boosting tourism and promoting Egypt as a global venue for cultural and entertainment events. Avex representatives, for their part, expressed their eagerness to finalize the project, particularly given Egypt's interest in stimulating entertainment-based tourism.
