He highlighted several messages and Egyptian principles regarding its foreign relations, emphasized by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during recent communications with a number of international leaders and officials. These include Egypt's categorical rejection and condemnation of any actions that undermine the sovereignty of states, particularly fellow Arab and Islamic nations. He also welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel and Egypt's continued efforts to push for comprehensive political solutions to consolidate and adhere to this agreement, in cooperation and coordination with various relevant international parties. This will contribute to mitigating regional escalation and preventing the region from spiraling into chaos and widespread violence.
Madbouly noted that starting next Friday morning, gas pumping will
resume to a number of factories that had shut down in recent days due to a
shortage of gas supplies. He emphasized the state's commitment to meeting the
various requirements of the production process, striving to sustain production
and drive it forward to achieve greater economic and social goals.
He discussed the field visits he conducted this week, which included inspecting infrastructure preparations for natural gas imports in the Sokhna area, to receive regasification vessels. This will contribute to enhancing the capacity of the national natural gas network and meeting various consumer and production requirements.
The Prime Minister also referred to his tour of a number of factories in 6th of October City, which included a visit to the first factory in Egypt and the Middle East to manufacture ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging devices, as well as a factory for manufacturing television screens and mobile phones. He reiterated in this regard the state's full support for the industrial sector and working to provide more facilities and incentives that would contribute to the growth and development of this promising sector, which is one of the most important pillars of the Egyptian economy to achieve more economic goals. He stressed the ongoing efforts to localize many strategic industries locally, by enhancing the participation of local and foreign private sector institutions in implementing many new projects and expanding existing projects.
