The meeting reviewed a number of strategic issues of common interest between the two countries, with a focus on expanding investment cooperation and partnerships in the energy, mining, fertilizer, and green hydrogen sectors.

Both sides emphasized the importance of optimally utilizing the natural potential and mineral resources in Egypt and Algeria, which would contribute to strengthening the value-added chain in the manufacturing industries, particularly in fertilizer production.

Opportunities for cooperation in the chemical and petrochemical industries were also discussed, with the two ministers stressing the importance of integrating energy projects to serve regional energy security and enhance sustainable development efforts on the African continent.

They agreed on the need to jointly exploit available opportunities, particularly in developing manufacturing industries and fertilizer production. They emphasized that this cooperation will contribute to strengthening the two countries' positions as industrial hubs in North Africa.

Both parties also discussed ways to support regional economic integration through ambitious strategic infrastructure projects and transforming natural resources into value-added industrial projects.
