The meeting, held from April 21-26, 2025, included key Egyptian officials such as Minister Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Aham Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Executive Director and Member of the Board of Executive Directors and Representative of the Arab Group and the Maldives at the International Monetary Fund, Rami Aboulnaga, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Yasser Sobhi, Deputy Minister of Finance for Fiscal Policy, Moataz Zahran, Egypt's Ambassador to the United States of America, and Talin Koranchelian, Deputy Director in the Middle East and Central Asia Department in the IMF.
Clarke praised Egypt's economic management amid external challenges and acknowledged the government's commitment to reforms.
