Egypt targets Japanese Terra Therma for major local investment

Egypt's Ambassador to Japan Ragy El-Etreby has met with a Japanese technology executive to discuss investment and cooperation in advanced soil pollution treatment, the Egyptian embassy in Tokyo announced.

El-Etreby's meeting with Dr. Hatsue Minato Bratz, CEO of Terra Therma Asia, focused on strengthening cooperation in soil remediation using technology the company developed in collaboration with a US firm.

The two sides explored ways for the Japanese company to partner with relevant Egyptian investment authorities and local firms specialising in various types of soil contamination.

Minato Bratz valued the multiple investment opportunities presented by the Ambassador, according to the embassy, and expressed the company's interest in forming partnerships with Egyptian companies experienced in the Arab and African markets. The parties agreed to continue coordination with the Egyptian embassy in Tokyo.
