MIC Net Profit Falls 18% in First Half of 2025

MIC Net Profit Falls 18% in First Half of 2025

The independent financial statements of Mohandes Insurance Company (MIC) revealed an 18% year-on-year decline in net profit for the first half of this year.

In a statement, the company said it recorded a net profit of EGP 91.17 million from the beginning of January to the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 111.21 million in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

Insurance services revenues rose during the first six months of the year to EGP 737.12 million, up from EGP 615.59 million a year earlier.

MIC also reported consolidated net profit of EGP 137.72 million from January through March 2025, compared to EGP 150.33 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Insurance services revenues for the first quarter increased to EGP 321.87 million, versus EGP 258.49 million a year earlier.

According to the company’s standalone financial statements, net profit declined to EGP 58.86 million in the first quarter of 2025, compared to EGP 72.11 million in the corresponding period last year.
