El-Sherbiny affirmed that the Ministry of Housing, through
the New Urban Communities Authority, has introduced a range of mechanisms to
create diverse investment opportunities in new cities, particularly
fourth-generation cities, in line with the Ministry's objectives to maximize
the use of available land.
He reviewed the mechanisms for allocating service and urban
land plots in new cities, as well as investment opportunities denominated in
foreign currency.
The meeting also discussed several proposals aimed at easing
land tender procedures and resolving pending cases.
