Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly met with Mo Dengji, Chairman of the Chinese petrochemical company CNCEC, in Beijing. The meeting was the first for Madbouly since his arrival in the Chinese capital to participate in the "SCO Plus" summit in Tianjin on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Egypt's Ambassador to China, Khaled Nazmy, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Mo Dengji highlighted his company's experience in the petrochemical sector and provided an overview of its global investments, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

He explained that CNCEC produces various petrochemical products, including soda ash, and expressed his company's desire to expand its investments in Egypt, especially in agricultural fertilizers.

Mo Dengji stated that CNCEC looks forward to providing the best products in the promising Egyptian market, thanks to its strategic geographic location, numerous facilities, and trade agreements that facilitate access to neighboring markets. He also expressed his hope to visit Egypt in October to meet with the Prime Minister and discuss further cooperation opportunities.

Madbouly expressed his appreciation for the ongoing cooperation with CNCEC and its plans to expand its investments in Egypt. He stated that the Egyptian government is keen to move forward with the company's projects and will provide many incentives and benefits to foreign and local investors to attract more direct foreign investment. Madbouly emphasized that the government will facilitate the procedures for the company's project in Egypt.

Dr. Madbouly noted that President El-Sisi is monitoring the company's investments in Egypt and hopes to see the soda ash project and others implemented as soon as possible. He added that the investments and incentives provided to CNCEC could help the company expand into the Middle East and Africa. Madbouly concluded by saying he looks forward to Mo Dengji's visit in October to discuss further areas of cooperation.
