Japanese State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Yuichiro Koga, praised Egypt's significant role on Tuesday during the Egypt-Japan Business Council Forum in Tokyo.

In his speech, attended by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly and other officials from both countries, Koga noted the remarkable development of the Egyptian economy, which he said holds special importance for Japanese investments.

He highlighted Japanese investments in Egypt, particularly in the industrial and energy sectors, which he said contribute to economic growth and create numerous job opportunities.

Koga also expressed his appreciation for Egypt's efforts to strengthen cooperation and partnership with Japan and its companies across various fields. He also noted the close collaboration in cultural and archaeological exchanges, citing several exhibitions of Egyptian antiquities hosted in Japan.

The Minister concluded his address by wishing Prime Minister Madbouly and his delegation a successful and fruitful visit.
