He noted that the project is located next to the dry port area and Borg El Arab Airport, and is close to all major roads and seaports. The handover was attended by officials from the authority and the company.
The Minister explained that this comes within the framework
of fruitful cooperation between the New Urban Communities Authority and the
General Authority for Industrial Development, aimed at facilitating things for
investors.
Engineer Mohamed El Ghamrawy, Head of the Borg El Arab New
City Development Authority, pointed out that this project will be a catalyst
for industrial development within the city and will contribute to providing
industrial investment opportunities and jobs.
Officials from the company implementing the project
explained that they have taken into consideration the design of a comprehensive
industrial area with sustainable and high-quality infrastructure to reduce
environmental impact and keep pace with the state's digital transformation by implementing
a smart industrial zone.
Company officials added that the design considered
industrial plot sizes ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 square meters, with the
possibility of combining plots. The area will include industrial activities
such as engineering, chemicals, textiles, food, and warehouses.
The head of the authority explained that the goal of implementing this project is to create a modern, integrated industrial area to meet the needs of manufacturers.
