Gamal El-Din presented the SCZONE as a potential global
logistics hub, noting its six ports on the Mediterranean and Red seas and four
industrial zones. He highlighted its strategy to expand into 21 sectors and its
trade agreements that provide access to global markets.
He also expressed his desire to attract more Chinese investment, citing a successful promotional tour in China last month that resulted in six new projects in the textile and ready-made garments sector. Several other projects are anticipated in the near future, he added.
