El-Sherbiny held a meeting with officials from his ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and contractors to review the progress of residential developments aimed at serving local residents.
He underscored the importance of these projects, affirming
his ministry's full commitment to their completion and coordination with the
Port Said Governorate. The ministry, he added, provides all support to the
governorate's residents.
Discussions focused on the implementation status of 1,526
residential units and 232 commercial units across 66 buildings in Port Fouad
City, part of Port Said Governorate. The meeting also addressed 1,144
residential units and 512 commercial shops in 53 buildings in the same area.
Utility works, road infrastructure, and site coordination were also reviewed.
El-Sherbiny instructed ministry officials to offer
comprehensive support to implementing companies and to resolve any challenges.
He urged contractors to fast-track their timelines and establish weekly work
schedules for closer monitoring.
He further called for a detailed delivery plan for completed buildings, including a dedicated team to manage handovers and address any issues promptly. A subsequent plan for delivering units to beneficiaries is also required. El-Sherbiny emphasized that the "ultimate criterion" for success is project completion according to agreed specifications and the ministry's strategic vision.
