In a statement published on its official page, the Cabinet
noted that this progress was reflected in Egypt’s advancement by 38 positions
in the 2025 Global Peace Index compared to 2014, making it the most improved
country globally with a 13.5% improvement.
The statement highlighted that this achievement reflects the
success of state efforts to reduce crime and violence, contain demonstrations
and internal conflicts, and implement effective security policies. It also
underscores the strengthening of the rule of law, the consolidation of societal
stability, and the promotion of balanced development.
