Authority’s 2050 Development Plan and aimed to raise awareness about the
dangers of drug addiction while encouraging sports as a healthy lifestyle
choice.
Participants included deputy officials, youth and sports
leaders, members of youth organizations, and volunteers from the Addiction
Control and Treatment Fund in Minya.
The Capital Gardens City Development Authority organized a
sports day that drew wide participation from residents of all ages and
backgrounds. The event aimed to help develop children's character and instill
values of responsibility and belonging from an early age.
Engineer Ammar Mandour, Head of the Capital Gardens
Authority, stressed that such events support the state’s efforts to promote a
culture of sports and make physical activity part of everyday life among youth.
He highlighted the role of sports in improving both physical and mental health,
fostering discipline, and promoting values of fair competition. He added that
these events reflect the state’s commitment to building a strong, healthy
