The meeting focused on the EDA's involvement in the event, a key platform for major players in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

PharmacoNeX is a leading platform that brings together major companies and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, offering promising opportunities for exchanging expertise and showcasing the latest innovations in the sector.

Discussions centered on the EDA's role and visibility at the conference, highlighting its efforts in regulating and developing Egypt's pharmaceutical sector. The EDA also aims to showcase its contribution to boosting the competitiveness of Egyptian-made medicines both regionally and internationally.

El-Ghamrawy emphasized that participating in PharmaconeX 2025 aligns with the EDA's strategy to engage with international specialized events. Such platforms allow Egypt to present its experience in pharmaceutical governance and regulation, fostering local manufacturing and ensuring drug security. He added that the EDA seeks to make its presence impactful, reflecting ongoing efforts to enhance Egypt's pharmaceutical system and its global market competitiveness.

Informa's delegation praised the EDA's regulatory and developmental contributions, expressing keen interest in a successful partnership during the conference. This collaboration would enable the EDA to share its pioneering work in pharmaceutical policy development and market regulation with a global audience of companies, experts, and institutions.

The meeting saw the attendance of several EDA leaders, including Dr. Yassin Ragai, Assistant Head for Media and Investment Support, Dr. Amany Gowdat, Assistant Head for the Office of the Head of the Authority, and Dr. Osama Hatem, Assistant Head for Policies and International Cooperation. External attendees included Dr. Yousry Nawwar, Board Member of the Chamber of Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Medical Supplies Industries, along with Informa representatives Mostafa Khalil from Egypt and Adham Essam, the Content Manager.

The EDA's participation in this international gathering underscores its continuous efforts to strengthen its institutional presence globally, reinforcing Egypt's position as a regional hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulation. It also signifies the Egyptian state's support for innovation in the pharmaceutical sector and the EDA's commitment to exchanging expertise, ultimately enhancing regulatory policies, improving healthcare efficiency, and achieving better patient outcomes.
