The agreement aims to integrate Otis Gen2® elevators, known
for their energy efficiency and space-saving design, into Tatweer Misr's
existing projects across multiple regions.
According to the agreement between the two companies, the
collaboration includes supplying smart vertical mobility systems to six of Tatweer
Misr's key projects: IL Monte Galala in Ain Sokhna; Fouka Bay, D-Bay, and Salt
in the North Coast; Bloomfields in Mostakbal City in East Cairo; and Rivers in
West Cairo.
Tatweer Misr stated that through these projects, it focuses
on combining modern infrastructure with sustainability concepts, while
addressing the needs of vertical mobility within residential communities.
Ahmed Shalaby, CEO of Tatweer Misr, stated that the
partnership with Otis aims to introduce smart mobility technologies that contribute
to improving operational efficiency within residential communities. This
partnership is in line with the company's strategy of innovation and urban
integration.
João Penedo, Otis's Senior Vice President for Africa and the
Middle East, described the agreement as one of the company's largest projects
in the region, emphasizing that the collaboration represents an opportunity to
support the growth of the Egyptian real estate sector and integrate modern
technology into urban infrastructure.
