Shimi's visit to Damietta, located in the Nile Delta, aims to inspect several industrial facilities and hotel properties owned by ministry-affiliated companies.
The two officials held extensive talks focusing on vital
issues including the development of textile industries, the growth of hotel
assets, and the revitalization of domestic tourism, according to a ministry
statement.

integrating the state's industrial and tourism strategies, emphasizing the
ministry's commitment to strengthening its companies' role in the province due
to its distinguished location and significant industrial and human potential.
He added that constant coordination between the ministry and
the governorate will ensure rapid and effective implementation of development
projects and address any challenges, thereby achieving shared development
