The transfers, spanning from July to April, represent a 77.1% increase compared to the roughly $16.6 billion recorded during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
The period from January to April 2024-2025 also witnessed a 72.3%
year-on-year increase, totaling around $12.4 billion, up from approximately
$7.2 billion.
On a monthly basis, remittances for April 2025 jumped by 39.0% year-on-year, reaching approximately $3.0 billion, compared to about $2.2 billion in April of the previous year.
