CBE: Banks to Close on June 26 and July 3

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Sunday that all banks will be closed on Thursday, June 26, for the Islamic New Year, and on Thursday, July 3, for the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.

The bank stated that, on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 1447 AH, all banks operating in Egypt will be closed on Thursday, June 26, 2025, with work resuming on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

It added that, on the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, banks will also be closed on Thursday, July 3, 2025, with operations resuming on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
