El -Sherbiny pointed out that today's meeting aims to emphasize a number of issues and assignments, including, the file of rationalization in the use of energy and water, in light of the current developments and scenarios for dealing with the repercussions of the Iranian -Israeli military operation, which makes the rationalization of energy and available water an important issue that must be worked on.
He directed the heads of the new city devices to work on the procedures for rationalizing energy and water consumption and commitment to conduct maintenance work for all lighting units in cities and lighting poles, as well as intensifying the deployment of awareness materials for rationalizing water consumption through various media and the Ministry of Housing pages on social media, to urge citizens to rationalize energy and water.
He also directed coordination with regard to advertisements in all cities and rationalization of their lighting, in addition to the bright signs in general, and the preparation of a daily report with all efforts made in this file with every city agency for periodic follow -up of implementation procedures.
The Minister of Housing addressed the status of drinking water stations, noting that there is a tangible effort regarding the reduction of the losses. However, he stressed the need to intensify efforts to reduce further minimize these losses. He also directed to follow up on all consumptions, and to pay attention to the operation and maintenance of the stations.
He discussed the status of the sewage system in a number of new cities, pointing out that the system must be improved in all cities, and operating discipline to prevent any problems, directed to prepare a report in the sewage system in all cities and offered it personally.
