Reason for dollar stability during Eid holiday
This stability in the dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound is due to the suspension of official trading in banks from last Thursday until the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday, which resulted in no changes in foreign currency exchange rates, particularly the US dollar.
Banks operating in Egypt are expected to resume normal operations after the Eid holiday, and exchange rates will be updated again according to supply and demand mechanisms and global changes.
The Dollar and Other Currencies
Citizens and investors alike often search for the dollar price in Egypt today, given its direct impact on the prices of imported goods, gold, and fuel, in addition to its role in determining trends in local and global markets.
