The meeting discussed ways to enhance economic and trade relations between Egypt and the United States, as well as the ongoing arrangements for Cairo to host the Egyptian-American Economic Forum on May 25 and 26.
It is worth noting that the value of trade between Egypt and the United States increased by 37.4% last year, bringing the total trade exchange between the two countries to about $9.8 billion, compared to $7.1 billion during 2023. The figures indicated that the United States accounts for about 7% of Egypt's total foreign trade value.
