Engineer Ahmed Omran, Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for Utilities and Network and Station Maintenance, reviewed the current status of the water system to meet the needs of cities east and west of Cairo during the summer, along with plans for water resources.
El-Sherbiny also reviewed the sewage system in 10th of Ramadan City and the industrial drainage system, as well as efforts to improve the system's efficiency. He also reviewed the status of the city's irrigation system.
He directed the development of a vision and future plans for expanding the system to accommodate the expected growth in these areas during the coming period and to secure all their water needs. He emphasized the need for daily monitoring of the system to avoid any obstacles that would impede the provision of current needs.
