Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the AOI, expressed his strong appreciation for this collaboration with XGY Medical Devices. He praised their technical expertise in medical device manufacturing, highlighting that this initial cooperation is a significant step towards establishing a joint company and factory within the AOI for the local production of MRI, X-ray, and CT scan machines. This marks the first time this crucial industry will be localized in Egypt.
He further explained that the cooperation includes the
supply and installation of an advanced MRI machine (model 2025XGY OPER-0.35T)
at the AOI Hospital, along with specialized training programs for AOI engineers
and technicians, and the provision of maintenance services and spare parts.
He added that the AOI is committed to building fruitful
strategic partnerships and aims to strengthen its collaboration with the
Chinese company to manufacture MRI, X-ray, and CT scan machines with Egyptian
efficiency. This will help meet local market demands, reduce import reliance,
and create export opportunities in regional and African markets.
Mr. Tong Chun Guang, Chairman of XGY Medical Devices,
expressed his pride in partnering with the AOI, emphasizing that this
collaboration reflects strong confidence in the AOI's capabilities and advanced
manufacturing potential.
He stated that his company intends to fully transfer technology to Egypt and work with the AOI to establish a modern factory that will provide excellent job opportunities and contribute to strengthening the national economy and supporting Egypt's ambitious development plans.
