The delegation included 13 representatives of Omani economic institutions, headed by Dr. Siham bint Ahmed Al Harthy, a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors. She praised the positive developments witnessed by the Egyptian economy and stressed the Omani business community's desire to continue investing in the Egyptian market and establish partnerships with Egyptian businessmen interested in investing in the Omani market. She also stressed the need to benefit from Egypt's experience in creating an investment climate, which has led to a doubling of foreign direct investment flows into the Egyptian market over the past years.
Ahmed Zuhair, Head of the Central Promotion Department, reviewed the latest legislative and executive developments in Egypt's investment climate. Ms. Laila Adel, from the Egyptian Exporters Association, proposed several opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides. She stressed the association's support for Arab investments in Egypt through specialized training, consulting services, market studies, and the organization of exhibitions and trade missions in Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman.
