The agreement outlines the establishment of a private university within Noor City, TMG’s flagship integrated urban development in the Capital Gardens area of East Cairo. Spanning 21 million square meters, Noor City is designed according to the latest sustainability standards and smart city concepts.
TMG will provide approximately 216,000 square meters of land
for the university project. In exchange for the land, TMG will receive an
equity stake in the project’s owning company, along with a share of revenues
throughout the university's operational lifespan. The total investment cost for
the university is estimated at EGP 8 billion. Construction for the first phase
is slated to begin by 2029, aligning with the project’s master execution plan.
Under the terms of the agreement, Egypt Education Platform
(EEP) will also operate two schools within Noor City under a management
contract. Per the deal, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) will provide the land and
inject the necessary capital for the construction of the educational
facilities, while EEP will oversee management and operations to ensure the
delivery of high-standard educational services.
In a related context, unit deliveries in Noor City are expected to commence in 2026, according to the approved timeline. This comes as part of TMG’s commitment to executing its projects within the designated schedules, further supporting the objectives of comprehensive urban development.
