Speaking at an open dialogue with the Accounting and Auditing Division of the Syndicate of Commerce Employees, Kouchouk emphasized that the ministry's current priority is expanding the tax base to incentivize the business community and increase spending on human development.
"Everything we are doing regarding tax facilities stems
from the tax community itself. We recognize the challenges and will deal with
them seriously," the Minister said. He added that the state has a
realistic vision for addressing tax hurdles through flexible and modern
solutions for taxpayers.
The Minister said that the government is committed to
implementing each package of facilities on the ground before moving to the next
to build a partnership of trust. He stressed the importance of providing
top-tier services to taxpayers, aiming for reforms that are suitable for our
priorities and needs.
Kouchouk announced a new phase of cooperation with tax professionals, noting their expertise is vital for explaining and evaluating tax facilities. He welcomed proposals from the Accounting and Auditing Division, stating that their recommendations would be integrated into the country's sustainable tax reform path.
