The Ministry stated that Phase 3 of the line extends from beyond the Arts and Culture Station in the New Administrative Capital to the Central Administrative Capital Station, where it will interchange with Line 1 of the high-speed rail connecting Sokhna, El Alamein, and Marsa Matrouh. This phase includes four stations: three elevated and one at ground level.
The Ministry highlighted that the Light Rail Transit project
supports the growth and development of new urban communities. It also
facilitates fast and comfortable transportation while providing modern and
sustainable transit solutions that deliver the highest levels of service to
passengers.
