In a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) today, the
company added that the agreement also authorizes Digitize to locally
manufacture advanced telecommunications equipment, including servers, routers,
and switches.
It clarified that the agreement does not currently entail
any financial obligations on either party. Required disclosures will be made if
any financial obligations arise in the future.
Digitize also stated that its board, which convened last
Thursday, approved the execution of two contracts: one to implement new
networks worth EGP 45 million, and another for network maintenance worth EGP 17
million. The company noted that its total current contractual portfolio stands
at EGP 510 million.
