El-Sherbiny presented the overall status of various housing projects. These include units under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” for low- and middle-income groups, Sakan Misr, Janna, modern and distinctive housing projects, medium- and upper-middle-income housing, luxury housing and villas, and the Diarna and Zilal projects. A new housing project is also under consideration. The total number of units across all projects is 1,221,659, of which 760,428 units have been completed, 321,733 units are under construction, and procedures are underway for the allocation of more than 60,796 units.
He reviewed the detailed status of units within the
presidential initiative. The low-income component includes 833,926 units, while
the middle-income component totals 24,528 units.
He also reviewed the status of other projects: 80,712 units
in Sakan Misr, 43,168 units in Janna, 13,088 units in modern and distinctive
projects, 10,056 units in various medium-income projects, 18,132 units in upper-middle-income
projects, 70,948 units in luxury housing projects, and 7,063 villas.
El-Sherbiny reviewed the medium-income Diarna project with
60,008 units and the luxury Zilal project with 40,014 units. He also discussed
a potential new housing project totaling 20,016 units.
He followed up on project deliveries and timelines for
completion. He directed the acceleration of schedules to ensure units are
delivered on time. He emphasized the need to secure necessary funding for
ongoing units, including infrastructure, green spaces, site coordination,
roads, and lighting across all new city projects.
The Minister instructed that all required services be
provided in the projects to ensure high-quality living conditions for
residents. He stressed the importance of regular monitoring to complete all
projects according to the planned schedules.
